ASTAXANTHIN

We biomanufacture high quality astaxanthin, stereochemically identical to that produced by Haematococcus pluvialis, using less land, water and energy whilst capturing and utilizing CO2. Astaxanthin is a highly sought after feed supplement for aquaculture and as a nutraceutical and cosmetic ingredient.

For cosmetics, astaxanthin is a highly regarded and potent antioxidant with skin-enhancing vitamin C and E benefits. It is recognised to have photo-protective and anti-inflammatory effects that protect from UV rays, repair DNA damage and slow the growth of skin cancer cells.
